Farmer Days

Join us for these exciting days learning about our animals, the care they need, feeding and grooming as well as receiving an info booklet and certificate. Get stuck in behind the scenes and get up close to some of our favourite residents. The Junior Farmer Days are suitable for children aged 7-11 years, but must have completed level One before attending Level Two. The Farm Keeper Days are suitable for children aged 11-16 years.

The day will include both indoor and outdoor activities so please make sure your child is dressed appropriately for the weather. Lunch is not provided, each child will need to bring their own packed lunch and drinks bottle.

There will also be free time for the children to play in our play areas whilst supervised.

Please note to attend Level Two, your child must have completed Level One with us. Spaces are limited and this event is pre-book only.

£60.00 Junior Farmer Day - Level 1 Junior Farmer Day - Level 1 (aged 7-11 years)

The perfect introduction to life on the farm! Learn about our animals' needs, how to perform health checks on our small animals and get stuck in cleaning them out and feeding them. There will be time to burn off some energy on our super play areas before heading to see our field animals. You will then be able to help maintain pastures and even groom some goats! At the end of the day, you will receive an activity book and for successfully completing Level One you will receive a special certificate!

This session is for children aged 7 - 11 years old on Monday 27th October 10:00 - 15:00. Booking is essential and spaces are limited.

£60.00 Junior Farmer Day - Level 2 Junior Farmer Day - Level 2 (aged 7-11 years)

Step into the next level on the farm and enjoy day two of animal care with us. During this day you will learn about our more exotic residents including the Reptile Den. Whilst in there you will learn how to handle & health check lizards, snakes and inverts. After lunch and supervised play session, the next stop will be to meet and feed the wallabies as well as helping to maintain pastures. To round the day off you will be making enrichment toys for our meerkats, wallabies and small animals. As with Level One, the day will finish with an activity booklet and special certificate!

This session is for children aged 7-11 years old on Tuesday 28th October 10:00 - 15:00. To book onto Level Two, your child MUST HAVE completed Level One previously. Booking is essential as spaces are limited.

£60.00 Farm Keeper Day Farm Keeper Day aged 11-16 years

Spend a day getting stuck in behind the scenes on the farm, learning about our animals' needs, welfare and getting to know their personalities. You will receive a tour of our Reptile Den including husbandry and handling of the residents. Take some time to get up close to our field animals by giving our goats a groom and helping to maintain their pastures. As well as meeting our animals, you will also be making enrichment for them and seeing how they interact with it. This will include the wallabies, meerkats and small animals. At the end of the day, you will receive an activity booklet and signed certificate to take home.

This session is for children aged 11-16 years old on Friday 31st October 10:00 - 15:00. Spaces are limited and must be pre booked.
